Species: Anopheles earlei
DIAGNOSIS:Scutellum with posterior margin evenly rounded. Scales on wings mostly dark, concentrated into dense spots particularly on radial sector. Fringe of pale scales between R1 and R4+5. BIOLOGY: Overwinter as adult females. Breed along well vegetated slow moving streams. Females are aggressive biters.
