Species: Asynarchus montanus (Banks) 1907

Larvae construct a tubular case of leaf pieces, sand grains or snail shells. Larvae inhabit a large range of both lentic and lotic habitats (Smith 1984). Adult flight period begins in early July and continues to early August at least. Although flight period is determined by the temperature the larvae are living in (Smith 1984). There is a single generation per year.
