Species: Hydroptila consimilis Morton 1905


The larval case was made of a mix of sand grains and filamentous algae. Larvae were collected in clear or slightly turbid streams with moderate flow as well as the South Saskatchewan River. Adult flight period lasts from late June to mid August. It is thought to have two generations per year in the Saskatchewan River System.
