Species: Hydroptila spatulata Morton 1905


Larval case is laterally flattened. Made mostly of filamentous algae. Found in the South Saskatchewan River as well as fast flowing, moderately turbid stream. Adult flight period occurs in September in SK. There is evidence that further south there are multiple generations in a year.
