Species: Ligumia recta (Lamarck) 1819


Black sand-shell: Found in the Assiboine River system in SK. Usually found in large rivers but can occur in large lakes as well. Sand and gravel are prefered habitats. Host fish include bluegill, largemouth bass and white crappie.
