Species: Limnephilus extractus Walker 1852


Larvae construct cases of cross-wise placed plant material. Larvae were found associated with the weedy shorelines of lakes and slow moving rivers (Smith 1984). The larvae overwinter. There is only one generation a year with the adults flight period occurring in early to mid June (Smith 1984).
