Species: Limnephilus infernalis (Banks) 1914


The larvae construct cylindrical cases of cross-wise placed plant materials. This species is found associated with all types of lentic waters and slow moving streams that have weedy margins (Smith 1984). A single generation occurs each year with the adults emerging in mid to late August (Smith 1984).
