Species: Limnephilus nigriceps (Zetterstedt)
Smith (1984) reports two larval cases: One is triangular made of plant material. The second type is also made of plant material but it is cylindrical, sometimes with a trailing twig. Larvae inhabit lentic and lotic habitats. There is one generation per year.
