Species: Limnephilus rhombicus (Linnaeus) 1758
Larval case is made of plant material laid transversely to the long axis of the case (Smith 1984). Larvae are found in lakes and ponds as well as slow moving lotic habitats. The larvae feed on detritus and plant material. The species is univoltine in SK with the larvae overwintering and adults present in June (Smith 1984).
