Species: Molanna flavicornis Banks 1914


Larval cases typically are made of sand grains and detritus with lateral flanges and a "hood" over the top of the anterior end. Larvae are found in both standing and flowing water. There maybe more than one generation per year in SK (Smith 1984). The adult flight period is from late May to early September.
