Species: Pycnopsyche subfasciata (Say) 1828


Tubular larval case made of bark, sand grains and twigs. Larvae have been found in cool streams as well as lakes. Larvae are dormant during the summer months (Smith 1984). There is one generation per year with the adults collected in late August and early September.
